Manual polishing has become an indispensable process in mould manufacturing, for Automotive Industry, Consumer Household Industry, Medical Industry, etc. Manual polishing on tooling components helps to achieve better and smoother tool functionality as well as productivity. High-gloss polishing has become a critical surface finishing which is to be complied for manufacturers, for the design and moulding of shiny transparent parts, as well as for the secondary processes such as chrome plating or vaporizing.
Sandpaper polishing is generally used to prepare the mould surface for texturing, or as the final polishing requirement for moulding of plastic parts which are to be spray painted. In general, sandpaper polishing is also used to enhance good functional release of the parts during plastic injection or die casting processes.
