Laser welding is a very effective and relatively cost-attractive method to repair tools and mould parts of any kind.The comprehensive scope of possibilities allows us to precisely restore geometrically complicated contours that cannot be processed with any other traditional welding methods.
Especially in the field of high-quality surfaces, such as optical disc mirror plates (CD / DVD / Blu Ray) or other high-gloss polished mould surfaces (reflector inserts, head-lamp lenses, design bezel), laser welding has become an essential method of repair.
In the case of repairing textured surfaces or mould surfaces that will be coated afterwards, laser welding process provides maximum confidence level that after the complete processes are done, the mould surface appearance will not be adversely affected.
